Currier Museum of Art

Currier Museum of ArtThe Currier Museum pass provides 50% off general admission for 2 adults and all youth family members (13 - 17) children under 12 admitted free. Prices are Adult $15, Senior (65+) $13, Student $10, Youth (13-17) $5.

The museum is planning to reopen on Thursday, August 20 with exciting new things to see. Two new special exhibitions will be on view, Open World: Video Games and Contemporary Art and Richard Haynes: Whispering Quilts. Museum members will be invited to preview the museum and new exhibitions in advance of the public opening, from August 13 to 16.

Safety first
  • All visitors must wear a mask or a face covering.
  • The number of visitors in each gallery will be controlled.
  • We will institute timed ticketing. Please buy or reserve your timed tickets online to limit crowds and reduce contact.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the museum and surfaces will be regularly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Visitors who are feeling sick, are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have a fever over 100 degrees should not enter the museum.
New hours
  • Thursday: open 10am to 8pm
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: open 10am to 5pm
  • Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
  • During August, the hours of 10am to 11am will be reserved for members and seniors. 
The museum will be opening on the following holiday Mondays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran’s Day.

The following activities will be suspended for the time being:
  • Guided tours in the museum.
  • Visits to the Frank Lloyd Wright houses.
  • Art classes, which are available virtually online. Registration is open now.
  • The café and shop may not open immediately on August 20.
Manchester Millyard Museum

Manchester Millyard Museum

Pass valid for free admission for up to 4 Adults/Children. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM-4:00 PM.  Closed July 4th. All guests are asked to use ONLY the Commercial Street entrance to the building and remain only on the first floor during your visit. At times, the entrance may be locked, even during our open hours. If you are trying to visit the museum during our normal operating hours and the exterior door is locked, please call the Museum’s main line (603-622-7531) and someone will let you in.

    • Visitors will be required to maintain social distancing of 6 feet inside the museum. 
    • Masks will be required for visitors, volunteers, and staff (while in common areas).
    • A limit of 30 visitors maximum inside the museum at any time will be maintained.
    • A plexi glass shield will be installed at the admissions desk. Cashless transactions are encouraged. 
    • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the admissions desk and in the building lobby.
    • A one-way flow through the museum will be followed to facilitate social distancing, with floor directional arrows installed throughout the galleries.
    • Common use surfaces, including door handles, push buttons, and phones, will be cleaned and disinfected at a minimum of every two hours.
    • Many interactive components of the exhibits have been temporarily removed to minimize contact.
    • The Museum shop will be open. Please maintain social distancing while in the shop.
    • The restrooms immediately outside the museum entrance have been designated for Millyard Museum guests only. Surfaces will be cleaned regularly throughout the day, and professionally cleaned daily.

Research Center

Those wishing to visit our Research Center can do so by appointment only. Appointment times will be limited to 2-hour time blocks between 10am and 4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There will be a maximum of 3 researchers allowed at a time.

    • Masks will be required for visitors, volunteers, and staff (while in common areas).
    • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the admissions desk.
    • Common use surfaces, including door handles and tables will be cleaned and disinfected at a minimum of every two hours.
    • Visitors should not enter our facilities if they are sick.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery CenterFree admission to exhibit galleries only, for four people. Not valid for special events, programs planetarium shows or workshops. Starting July 1st the center will be open from 10:30-4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday. There will be 3 Planetarium shows a day with maintaining social distancing and sanitizing between shows. In order to provide a safe environment, all visitors must...

  • ...wear masks and use hand sanitizer that will be provided throughout the center. 
  • ...practice social distancing. 
  • ...follow the room capacities displayed in some of the exhibits. 

July 4th center will be closed.

 


NH State Parks Pass

NH State ParksPass is valid for two adults and up to four children to visit any of the day-use parks for free ($1.00 parking fee required). Contact the library to reserve your discount pass. At this time you must also reserve a parking space and pay a $1.00 parking fee. Visit this link for more info on how to borrow the pass. The pass is not valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram or the Flume Gorge and cannot be used a Hampton Beach - South, Wallis Sands, metered parking or for camping.

 


Seacoast Science Center

Seacoast Science CenterPass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children or grandchildren at 50% off the cost of regular admiission: Individuals from 13 years and older $10.00, Seniors (65+) and military (with ID) $8.00, 3-12 $5.00, under 3 free admission. The venue will be offering three time slots for visitors each day: 10am–12pm | 12pm–2pm | 2pm – 4pm.

To make a reservation, visitors must:

  • Visit the Welcome Back page on venue website, located under the Plan Your Visit tab in the menu
  • Click on the SSC Members Reservation button
  • Enter the number of people in your party
  • Enter the name of your library as the member name
  • Choose a date and time
  • Enter the name of each guest
  • You will receive an email confirmation and should also bring a copy of your library pass (paper or electronic) to show at our front desk.

Inside the Center, all staff will be wearing masks and we ask that visitors age 10 and over wear face coverings and practice safe social distancing. Hand sanitizing stations are now located throughout the building and highly touched surfaces will be disinfected throughout the day. Some of our exhibits have been changed for safety reasons but they will still be able to visit our live animals in the Gulf of Maine Hall and the Restoring Reefs in the Eversource Gallery. Our naturalists will be at-the-ready with resources to guide their experience as they explore Odiorne Point State Park with their family. They can grab a Choose Your Own Adventure sheet or stay hands-free and view on their cell phone. Whether they want to get their feet wet in the tidepools, or learn more about the fascinating natural or social history of the Park, we’ve got it covered.

Library patrons must bring  Library pass with them - must register and pay for tickets online for a specific date and time. The trail will be one-way and hand sanitizer stations have been added along with reminders about physical distancing along the trail. You must call the Squam Lakes Admissions desk at 603-968-7194 x 7 to register for a specific date and time. Visitors may purchase up to four tickets at $10 each.
