Boston Children's Museum

Boston Children's MuseumPass entitles 4 individuals at half price admission. Children 12 months and under admitted free. $18.00.

The new practices require all visitors, including Library Member Discount Coupon Users:

Important – for this early reopening period, Boston Children’s Museum will be open five days a week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. You may have coupons for these closed days in your inventory; please do not distribute these coupons to patrons. We will keep you updated about changes.

To reserve a visit using a Library Membership Discount Coupon patrons should:
  • Visit 
  • Review the directions for timed tickets
  • Click on the "Discount Programs" & drop down arrow
  • Click on "Half Price Library Timed Ticket " to book
  • The date on the Library Discount Coupon must match the date of the patron’s visit.
  • Once arriving at the Museum, visitors will proceed to the Admissions Scanning Station with their online reservation and the date specific Library Discount Coupon received from the library. Patron can present these digitally on a hand held device or as a paper print out.

Children's Museum of New Hampshire

Children's Museum of NHPass valid for 50% reduced admission for up to four regular paid admissions- $11.00 adults & children over 1 year of age, $9 – seniors age 65+ (additional guests pay the regular admission of $11.00  admission). 


The museum now operates with limited days/hours: Thursdays - Saturdays. Visitors must reserve a timed session online: 9-11:30am or 1-3:30pm. Please visit the museum's reservation page at [] to make a date/time reservation and then submit a request to borrow the library's pass which can be issued in print or digital format at the patron's request or preference.

Currier Museum of Art

Currier Museum of ArtThe Currier Museum pass provides 50% off general admission for 2 adults and all youth family members (13 - 17) children under 12 admitted free. Prices are Adult $15, Senior (65+) $13, Student $10, Youth (13-17) $5.

The museum is planning to reopen on Thursday, August 20 with exciting new things to see. Two new special exhibitions will be on view, Open World: Video Games and Contemporary Art and Richard Haynes: Whispering Quilts. Museum members will be invited to preview the museum and new exhibitions in advance of the public opening, from August 13 to 16.

Safety first
  • All visitors must wear a mask or a face covering.
  • The number of visitors in each gallery will be controlled.
  • We will institute timed ticketing. Please buy or reserve your timed tickets online to limit crowds and reduce contact.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the museum and surfaces will be regularly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Visitors who are feeling sick, are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have a fever over 100 degrees should not enter the museum.
New hours
  • Thursday: open 10am to 8pm
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: open 10am to 5pm
  • Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
  • During August, the hours of 10am to 11am will be reserved for members and seniors. Seniors 65+ may use the library pass to get in at this early time.
The museum will be opening on the following holiday Mondays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran’s Day.

  • Guided tours in the museum.
  • Visits to the Frank Lloyd Wright houses.
  • Art classes, which are available virtually online. Registration is open now.
  • The café and shop may not open immediately on August 20.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

New protocols in place due to pandemic...
Museum Pass Program passholders must claim a printed, dated pass from their library. Provided with your pass will be instructions to purchase discounted, advance tickets online using a special promo code. This code can only be redeemed for the day you have reserved. Should you have trouble purchasing your tickets online, please contact the Box Office at 617 278 5156.  
To ensure a safe and enjoyable visitor experience, Museum entry will be timed and capacity highly restricted.
  • All tickets will be sold for a specific entry time between 11 am–3:30 pm (11 am–7:30 pm on Thursdays). Please arrive no more than five minutes ahead of your designated time slot
  • Parties of 8 or more are not permitted
  • Visitors who arrive more than five minutes earlier than the time slot designated on their tickets will be turned away until five minutes before their designated time slot
  • Members and Patrons must reserve tickets ahead of their visit, and hold tickets at time of entry. 
Manchester Millyard Museum

Manchester Millyard Museum

Pass valid for free admission for up to 4 Adults/Children. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM-4:00 PM.  Closed July 4th. All guests are asked to use ONLY the Commercial Street entrance to the building and remain only on the first floor during your visit. At times, the entrance may be locked, even during our open hours. If you are trying to visit the museum during our normal operating hours and the exterior door is locked, please call the Museum’s main line (603-622-7531) and someone will let you in.

    • Visitors will be required to maintain social distancing of 6 feet inside the museum. 
    • Masks will be required for visitors, volunteers, and staff (while in common areas).
    • A limit of 30 visitors maximum inside the museum at any time will be maintained.
    • A plexi glass shield will be installed at the admissions desk. Cashless transactions are encouraged. 
    • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the admissions desk and in the building lobby.
    • A one-way flow through the museum will be followed to facilitate social distancing, with floor directional arrows installed throughout the galleries.
    • Common use surfaces, including door handles, push buttons, and phones, will be cleaned and disinfected at a minimum of every two hours.
    • Many interactive components of the exhibits have been temporarily removed to minimize contact.
    • The Museum shop will be open. Please maintain social distancing while in the shop.
    • The restrooms immediately outside the museum entrance have been designated for Millyard Museum guests only. Surfaces will be cleaned regularly throughout the day, and professionally cleaned daily.

Research Center

Those wishing to visit our Research Center can do so by appointment only. Appointment times will be limited to 2-hour time blocks between 10am and 4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There will be a maximum of 3 researchers allowed at a time.

    • Masks will be required for visitors, volunteers, and staff (while in common areas).
    • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the admissions desk.
    • Common use surfaces, including door handles and tables will be cleaned and disinfected at a minimum of every two hours.
    • Visitors should not enter our facilities if they are sick.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery CenterFree admission to exhibit galleries only, for four people. Not valid for special events, programs planetarium shows or workshops. Starting July 1st the center will be open from 10:30-4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday. There will be 3 Planetarium shows a day with maintaining social distancing and sanitizing between shows. In order to provide a safe environment, all visitors must...

  • ...wear masks and use hand sanitizer that will be provided throughout the center. 
  • ...practice social distancing. 
  • ...follow the room capacities displayed in some of the exhibits. 

July 4th center will be closed.


New England Aquarium

New England AquariumPass is valid for up to 4 individuals and the discount is 50% copayment per person. Adults $31, Seniors (60+) $29, Children 3-11 $22, Children <3 free. New pass reservation requirements in place due to pandemic:

NH State Parks

NH State ParksPass is valid for two adults and up to four children to visit any of the day-use parks for free ($1.00 parking fee required). Contact the library to reserve your discount pass. At this time you must also reserve a parking space and pay a $1.00 parking fee. Visit this link for more info on how to borrow the pass. The pass is not valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram or the Flume Gorge and cannot be used a Hampton Beach - South, Wallis Sands, metered parking or for camping.


Seacoast Science Center

Seacoast Science CenterPass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children or grandchildren at 50% off the cost of regular admiission: Individuals from 13 years and older $10.00, Seniors (65+) and military (with ID) $8.00, 3-12 $5.00, under 3 free admission. The venue will be offering three time slots for visitors each day: 10am–12pm | 12pm–2pm | 2pm – 4pm.

To make a reservation for Saturday or Sunday, visitors must:

  • Visit the Welcome Back page on venue website, located under the Plan Your Visit tab in the menu
  • Click on the SSC Members Reservation button
  • Enter the number of people in your party
  • Enter the name of your library as the member name
  • Choose a date and time
  • Enter the name of each guest
  • You will receive an email confirmation and should also bring a copy of your library pass (paper or electronic) to show at our front desk.

Inside the Center, all staff will be wearing masks and we ask that visitors age 10 and over wear face coverings and practice safe social distancing. Hand sanitizing stations are now located throughout the building and highly touched surfaces will be disinfected throughout the day. Some of our exhibits have been changed for safety reasons but they will still be able to visit our live animals in the Gulf of Maine Hall and the Restoring Reefs in the Eversource Gallery. Our naturalists will be at-the-ready with resources to guide their experience as they explore Odiorne Point State Park with their family. They can grab a Choose Your Own Adventure sheet or stay hands-free and view on their cell phone. Whether they want to get their feet wet in the tidepools, or learn more about the fascinating natural or social history of the Park, we’ve got it covered.


SEE Science Center

Pass valid (at SEE museum only) for up to 2 (two) individuals.

Due to the pandemic, the following protocols will be in place:

  • Guests are required to pre-register for one of two time slots per day 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm. 
  • Guests can register by calling 603-669-0400 or by signing up on our website (Online registering will be possible in the near future).
  • Visitors will be required to wear masks and will receive a confirmation with all relevant information after selecting their time of visit. 
  • Two visitors per day for a total potential of 4 unique free visitors per weekend.


Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

Library patrons must bring  Library pass with them - must register and pay for tickets online for a specific date and time. The trail will be one-way and hand sanitizer stations have been added along with reminders about physical distancing along the trail. You must call the Squam Lakes Admissions desk at 603-968-7194 x 7 to register for a specific date and time. Visitors may purchase up to four tickets at $10 each.


USS Constitution Museum

USS Constitution MuseumPass valid for free admission to the museum for up to 9 individuals. Hours: 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.


Reservations are now required to enter the Museum. Plan to arrive at the USS Constitution Museum within the 30-minute time frame designated on your timed ticket. Re-entry after your 30-minute time frame is not permitted at this time to maintain accurate capacity limits. As a reminder, your ticket does not include time aboard USS Constitution (the Ship). Visit USS Constitution’s website for more information on visiting the Ship.


The Ship is closed Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.


Constitution is still open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis during their operating hours. Please be aware that visitors must pass through a security inspection and show federal or state photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, before embarking on USS Constitution. Visitors under the age of 18 do not require a photo identification card. While on board, you might choose to pose for a picture at her helm, or by the Ship’s bell.
