Why Mindfulness? Because we can’t always get our ducks in a row, but we can always become better swimmers. Mindfulness builds the skills of self-awareness, empathy and compassion that give us the resilience to meet the stress, challenges and setbacks of work, relationships and personal growth.


Mindfulness is not about getting rid of our thoughts, any more than life is about getting rid of all our challenges.  It is about working with our thoughts skillfully, seeing them for what they are and being able use them to respond to our life with choices that support our happiness and well-being.
