Virtual Program: Brook Trout in NH, with Don Allen, NH Fish & Game Wildlife Steward

Join us for a fascinating hour where we'll be guided through a brief history of wildlife, and specifically the brook trout, here in NH by NH Fish & Game Wildlife Steward Don Allen. Don will tell us about the Sport Fish Restoration Program and the work the Fish & Game department is and has been doing to restore the brook trout in its natural habitat, followed by the current research and management being done here in NH.  The brook trout is one of the three native fish species here in New Hampshire. Many of the others in our lakes and streams are technically invasive species but are much enjoyed by the anglers that visit our state.

Anyone who had the pleasure of attending the Black Bears in NH program Don did for us this past winter will want to register to hear him speak by Zoom again about this acquatic freshwater friend of ours, the brook trout! Don't miss it!
